Dhaka range DIG pays homage to Bangabandhu

The newly-appointed Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police in Dhaka range Syed Nurul Islam BPM (Bar), PPM on Tuesday paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.  

DIG Nurul Islam offered prayers seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who were martyred on the fateful August 15, 1975. He also prayed for longevity and good health of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  

The Dhaka range chief put his signature on the inspection book kept in Bangabandhu Bhaban after writing a comment.  

Additional DIG (Admin & Finance) Muhammad Saidur Rahman Khan PPM (Bar), Additional DIG (Crime Management) Md Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar), Additional DIG (Ops & Intelligence) Biplob Kumar Sarker, other police officials were present at the time.
