ICT takes charges into cognizance against three

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 has taken the charges of crimes against humanity pressed by the prosecution against three alleged war criminals from Netrokona, into cognizance. The accused are-Hedayet Ullah Anju, 80, his brother Enayet Ullah Manju, 70, and Sohrab Fakir, 88, of Atpara upazila of Netrokona. Of them, Anju is yet to be arrested. The three-member tribunal headed by Justice Anwarul Haque yesterday took the charges into cognizance and set March 7 for further hearing in the case. Earlier the prosecution pressed five charges including of genocide and murder against the trio.
