Meat Ball Curry




Ingredients
For meat ball:

* 300 grams meat mince (keema) or boneless meat v 1 medium onion v 1 tomato v 2 green chilies v ½ teaspoon crusted black pepper v 1 teaspoon  ginger paste v 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves/ mint leaves(optional) * Salt to taste
For Curry:
* 3 tablespoon onion paste * ½ cup milk or 3 tablespoons coconut milk * 1 teaspoon chili powder * ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder * ½ teaspoon coriander powder * 1 teaspoon ginger paste * 1 teaspoon garlic paste * 1"cinnamon stick * 1 bay leaf * 1 cardamom pod * ½ teaspoon sugar * 3 tablespoon oil * Salt to taste

How to make: 1. If you are using boneless meat, put all kofta ingredients in food processor and mince it. If you are using mince meat, chop rest of ingredients and mix well. 2. Heat the pan with oil and add cinnamon stick, cardamom and bay leaf .after half minute add rest of curry ingredient except milk. Cook it till oil is separated. 3. Add milk and bring it to boiling point; in the meanwhile make kofta (meat ball) and add in gravy. Add water if needed. 4. Cook under closed lid about 1o-12minutes under closed lid or till kofta(meat ball) are cooked. 5. Check the salt and remove from heat. Serve hot Kofta curry /spicy meat ball curry with rice or polau.


Trirotno Halua / Tri Coloured Halwa



Ingredients:
* 2 cups coconut paste
* 2 cups carrot (boiled)
* 2 cups green papaw (boiled)
* 5 tablespoon ghee
* 1 can condensed milk
* 1 and ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
* Green food colour

How to make: 1. Great or mash boiled carrot and boiled papaw separately; keep them aside. 2.  For white (coconut) part: Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and add coconut paste; saute for 5 minutes. Add condensed milk and keep on stirring.  Once the milk is dried up, add cardamom powder and mix well till it starts leaving the pan. When it is done, remove and arrange in the plate for the first layer i.e. white. 3. For orange (carrot) part: Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in the same pan and add carrot; saute for 5 minutes. Add condensed milk and keep on stirring.  Once the milk is dried up, add cardamom powder and mix well till it starts leaving the pan. When it is done, remove and arrange in the plate for the second layer i.e. orange. 4. For green (papaw) part: repeat process like carrot (in part-3). Just add 2 drops green food color with cardamom powder and arrange in the plate third layer i.e.  green. 5.  Leave it cool for an hour and cut into desired pieces and Serve Trirotno Halua / Tri Coloured Halwa.
