To provide the information and support for healthcare through Digital Center, Access to Information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minis-ter's office and CareCluse ATN Medicare Private Limited on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the SSF Briefing Room of the Prime Minister's office.
Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General (Administration), Prime Minister's offce and Project Director of a2i Programme and Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Chairman of Carecluse ATN Medicare Private Limited signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. The program was chaired by Naimuzzaman Mukta, People's Perspective Specialist of a2i. The MoU was signed in presence of media personalities, senior officials of a2i Programme & CareCluse ATN Medicare Private Limited.
Under this collaboration, 5,275 digital center across the country will provide the various services for the best possible treatment at home and abroad e.g. processing the necessary documents for treatment abroad, passport, visa, selecting hospital, doctor's appointment,
At the initial stage, CareCluse ATN Medicare Private Limited launched these online health care services at India but near future, the services will be also available in Singapore, Bangkok, Malaysia and Thailand which will play a significant role to enrich the goal of vision 2021 i.e. services at the doorsteps of citizen.
Speaking on the occasion, Kabir Bin Anwar said, Digital center is a thriving modern center for providing information-technology based services. "These centers have already been established in union councils, municipalities and the City Corporation Ward. These are providing different services including healthcare services to about 80 million services among the citizen of Bangladesh.
A total of 30,207 bank accounts were opened, Tk 78. 44 crore worth of money is being transferred through the money tansferring process available in the digital centers.
