Bangladesh StartUp Cup,that brought the startup people in Dhaka together, is back. This time it is bigger and better. Bangladesh StartUp Cup 2017 will be going to all the divisions of the country, but Dhaka. The theme for this year'sBangladesh StartUp Cup is "Solve locally, scale eventually".
The main objective of the StartUp Cup is to develop StartUp ecosystems inBarisal, Chittagong, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Sylhet. These ecosystems will help StartUps to unpack some of the most pressing challenges in their divisions, and more importantly, to collectively solve their own challenges in a way that can be commercialized and replicated in other divisions or countries.
To connect the ecosystems at the divisional level, BetterStories Limited will travel across the 7 divisional cities with a unique tailor made 'immersion' bus. This moving platform will bring together the entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, academia, chambers, local administration and media in all the divisions and co-create a platform through which they can grow and scale.
