Naseeruddin Shah coming to enthrall Dhaka audience


We loved with him, laughed with him and cried with him in many of his movies. We have been enchanted by his bewitching voice as well as by the intensity portrayed. And now, the spectacular storyteller Naseeruddin Shah is in Dhaka to walk us through yet another saga, making us feel joy, wonderment and sadness within a short span.

If you are craving some food for the soul, and something to tug at your heartstrings, then be sure to drop in for a theatrical extraordinaire on the 21st of April at Bashundhara International Convention City (Hall 4) at 6:00pm.

City Bank is proud to present a stage play starring the quintessential Naseeruddin Shah in Motley's "Ismat Apa Ke Naam". This event has been designed by Blues Communications Ltd and with this outstanding play Blues aims to offer yet again something new to the cultural enthusiasts of Dhaka.

This will be the first time, this brilliant stage play will be performed in front of an audience in Bangladesh. Naseeruddin Shah is also the director of this play that is rich in satire, humor, wit and intelligence, and also carries a message.

The entire play, which will unfold 3 of her short stories presented as solo enactments by the likes of Ratna Pathak Shah and Heeba Shah, promises to mesmerize the audience.

 The information of advance tickets will be announced soon in the Facebook page of Blues Communication. There will be three categories of ticket- VIP tickets for 2500 BDT, regular tickets for 1500 BDT and gallery tickets for 1000 BDT.
