Bangladesh in frames for eighth time


There are some dreams that keep people awake and Through The Lens: Bangladesh (TTL BD), a group of keen amateur photographers has crossed 10 sleepless years.

The journey began in the year 2007 when a group of keen amateur photographers formed the Flickr based photography group Through The Lens: Bangladesh (TTL ). It started from an online based photographic community where members of all skill levels show their photos, participate in technical discussion, study and share their knowledge on photography.

Now the scope and activates of TTL expanded beyond online presence by organizing regular photography activities. Members get option to participate in open criticism on photography through the regular "Photo Adda" and also through several workshops and trainings. TTL conducts monthly "Safari" and "Photo walk" for the photographers where a group of photographers travel around the country and frames the exclusive moments. 

Every year the group arranges Bangladesh in Frames, an photo competition and exhibition for amateur photographers featuring wide range of extraordinary photos.

Following the yearly tradition, Through The Lens: Bangladesh (TTL BD) is organizing the eighth annual Bangladesh in Frames photography exhibition, a platform that is availed to the creative amateur photographers from all over Bangladesh.

The exhibition, titled Bangladesh in Frames 8, will be inaugurated on March 24 at 4:00pm at Drik Gallery. Legendary photographer Nasir Ali Mamun will inaugurate the exhibition.

This year TTL BD is presenting a wide range of black & white and color photography from all over Bangladesh by 105 creative amateur a photographers along with International well-known Photographers Shehzad Noorani, Abir Abdullah, Saud Al Faisal, Vineet Vohra, Rohit Vohra, K M Asad, Rahul Talukdar, Pronov Ghosh, Ata Adnan
