RAB seizes govt rice laden trucks, 5 held

Bhairab Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-14 camp from Ashuganj in Brahm-anbaria seized 40 metric tons rice laden two trucks and arrested five persons on Monday morning.

The arrestees were identified as Mecca-Medina Agro Food Rice Mill mill owner Kamal Miah, truck driver Jasim Uddin, Abdus Sattar, Rana Hossain and Muslem (from different dwellers.

By sneaky information, a team of RAB-14 Bhairab camp led a raid on early Monday at Mecca-Medina Agro Food Rice Mill at Alamanagar where's  the government's rice came from Shibpur sadar in Narsingdi district by two trucks.

During the operation, two trucks of food from the front of the rice mill Department with seal 800 sacks of rice was found. RAB-14 Bhairab camp commander Sheikh Nazmul Arefin Parag said, throughout the incident, police are preparing to file a case on behalf of the RAB in this connection.
