Hong Kong stocks ended the week with a small gain with traders looking ahead to a key vote on US healthcare that is considered a proxy for Donald Trump's chances of pushing through his pro-growth economic agenda.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.13 percent, or 30.57 points, to 24,358.27. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.64 percent, or 20.90 points, to 3,269.45 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.40 percent, or 8.14 points, to 2,046.74.
