Govt doing best for FFs: Zahid Malek

State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek on  Monday said the government of Sheikh Hasina was doing everything for the welfare of freedom fighters.

He said, "The freedom fighters have given us a territory as well as a national flag. They are the greatest sons of our soil."
The state minister said this after laying the foundation stone of Saturia Upazila Freedom Fighters Complex in Manikganj.

With AKM Nurul Huque, commander of Saturia Upazila Freedom Fighters Command Council, in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by Tobarok Hossain Ludu, commander of Manikganj District Freedom Fighters Command Council, Nahid Farjana, Saturia upazila nirbahi officer, and AFM Sultanul Azam Khan Apel, joint secretary of Manikganj District Awami League. The Local Government Engineering Department is implementing the project at a cost of Tk18,700,000.
