Faria's childhood was a little bit different. Her father was a government official so that he had to move to different parts of the country. That's why Faria celebrated her childhood Eid days in different ways. The previous night of the Eid, usually called Chand Raat Faria along her three sisters used to wear mehendi. They loved to hide their Eid dress from others because it gets older if anyone sees it. They used to buy their shoes which were completely matched with their dress.
But now time is changed. Because of tight schedule there is no special planning for Eid. Sharing a funny moment with us she told "That time we would live in Comilla. We used to go to Dhaka for Eid shopping. Once I bought dresses from Dhaka. After reaching home I saw that one of my neighbors bought a dress which was as same as I bought. Without wasting time I went back to Dhaka and bought a new one for me. That moment is unforgettable."
She also told that her mother made lots of delicious food items during Eid. On Eid day guests and her father's colleague used to visit their home and they all had their meal together. This way they celebrated their Eid with fun, love and affection.
Now she has to celebrate her Eid in Dhaka. Whenever we asked her about Eid shopping she informed us that she likes to shop for others and this Eid she will wear those dresses which she will get as Eid gifts. After Eid she has a plan to go Nepal with her family but still now it's not confirmed because it's totally depending on her working schedule.
