The country's export to Belgium slumped by 8.0 per cent in the 11 months of the current fiscal year (FY 2017), according to the latest statistics of EPB.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) latest statistics showed that the export to Belgium stood at $829.58 million in the July-May period of the ongoing fiscal year.
The export earnings from Belgium stood at $903.41 million in the same period of the past fiscal year (FY16). Hence the export to Belgium dropped by $73.83 million or 8.0 per cent during the period under review. The EPB statistics further showed that annual export to Belgium was $1015.33 million or $1.02 billion in the past fiscal year.
