DCCI inaugurates courses on supply chain management

Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has officially inaugurated its 20th, 21st, and 22nd batches of International Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Diploma Courses on Modular Learning System in Supply Chain Management (MLS-SCM(P)) at DCCI auditorium on Friday.

Vice President of DCCI Hossain A Sikder was present in the ceremony as chief guest, while Secretary General of DCCI A H M Rezaul Kabir was present there as special guest. Among others, ninety six participants, including the trainers and other distinguished guests were also present in the program.   

Hossain A Sikder said apart from providing traditional services to DCCI members, it has been undertaking multifarious activities for the development of private sector of the country and the acceleration of economic growth.  He thanked the participants and the respective organizations for choosing this important course of DCCI Business Institute (DBI).

Secretary General of DCCI A H M Rezaul Kabir also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of the course and its applicability.  Executive Director of DBI Md Joynal Abdin informed that the courses on international certificate, advanced certificate and diploma in "Modular Learning System in Supply Chain Management (MLS-SCM(P))", have been being conducted by DBI in cooperation with International Trade Centre (ITC) of Geneva since 2004.

In order to meet the growing demand for training services to the business community, DCCI established DCCI Business Institute (DBI) in 1991 as a training center and upgraded it as DBI in 1999. It is conducting various need-based training courses to make its members and the business community more efficient, trustworthy and competitive in international arena.
