Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited (BNICL) was placed in 'A' category from existing 'N' category effective from Monday.
"The company will be placed in 'A' category from existing 'N' category effective from July 17 as it has reported disbursement of 10 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016," according to news published on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website on Sunday.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has banned the investors from getting loan facility to buy the shares of BNICL for next 30 trading sessions.
"The stock brokers and merchant bankers are requested to abstain from providing loan facilities to purchase any security of BNICL in between 1st to 30th trading day after change of categorization, starting from July 17 as per BSEC directive and BSEC order dated October 27, 2015", it added.
