PP gives objections to charge sheet


The public prosecutor appealed before the court for more investigation of sensational cocaine case of Chittagong port for excluding the name of prime accused Nur Mohammad from the charge sheet submitted by the police.  PP Advocate Fakhruddin Chowdhury submitted the objection against the charge sheet of police (discontented appeal or na-aazi appeal) before the court on Wednesday.

The court accepted the objection of PP and fixed up the date of hearing the objection on August 23. The objection also appealed for more and elaborated investigation of the cocaine smuggling in this regard.  The court of the Chittagong Metro-politan Session Judge Mohammad Shah -e- Noor accepted the objection and fixed up the date.

Fakhruddin Chowdhury said the RAB investigation found  the involvement of Nur Mohammad and his brother with the cocaine smuggling. But, the police did not find out any involvement of the prime accused Nur Mohammad.  "So, we have submitted the objection against the charge sheet of police before the court. 

Sources said, on April 4 last in the current year, the supplementary charge sheet of the cocaine case was submitted before the court after rejecting the charge sheet against eight persons including two persons living in London in connection of the cocaine case on December 7 in 2015.

 The supplementary charge sheet of the most sensational cocaine case included the said two controversial persons named Nur Mohammed and Mostak Ahamod living in London, said sources in court.
