Biman Bangladesh Airlines cancelled two hajj flights scheduled for Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia Thursday (August 17).
The flights—BG-1073 and BG-5073--were scheduled to leave here at 06:05am and 01:25pm respectively.
Biman spokesperson Shakil Meraj confirmed the news by sending a press note in the morning.
However, Biman will operate five hajj flights Thursday including one schedule flight.
Biman so far have cancelled total 23 dedicated hajj flights till Thursday, said the press release.
Consequently, hajj pilgrims have expressed utter dissatisfaction over large-scale flight cancellations this time.
