A tree with spread out branches. It has small, smooth, shiny green leaves along with a tall stem little flowers blossom in bunches. It produces round shaped little fruits. Its flowers, leaves and fruits give out a nice smell. Mehedi is a favorite plant of many people who paint their hands, feet, nails, hair and bread with its crushed leaves.



It is an essential item at weddings, without which the toilette of the bride and bridegroom, especially of the bride, remains incomplete. The plant proliferates through "cuttings". You cut a sturdy branch, plant it in the earth and the mehedi will grow effortlessly. However, it is best to plant the mehedi through "cutting" in the rainy season.
