•1 cup atta
•2 tsp rock salt
•1/2 tsp chilli powder
•Water 250 gm
•Potatoes-peeled and chopped into slices
•Ghee (clarified butter) for deep frying
How to Make Aloo Pakora
1.Make a batter with theatta,namak, chilli powder and water. Adjust the water as required.
2.Mix the potatoes into the batter. Heat the oil in akadahitill some batter dropped into the oil comes up at once.
3.Now scoop the pieces of the vegetables out of the batter and drop them into the hot oil.
4.Fry over medium heat, to a very light brown. Remove from oil with slotted spoon and set aside.
5.Continue till all the potatoes are used up.
6.When ready to serve, heat oil again and fry thepakoriestill a golden brown.
7.Remove from oil and drain on an absorbent paper and serve.
8.Note - You can substitute with besan flour and regular salt if not fasting.
