'Massive programs taken to improve education'


The government has taken massive programs with a view to improving the quality of education, said RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury MP, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs and also president of Brahmanbaria District Awami League.

The lawmaker from Brahmanbaria-3 constituency said this at a discussion on enhancing the quality of education at Brahmanbaria Govt College auditorium on Thursday morning.

The former director general of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Prof Fahima Khatun, the superintendent engineer of Education Engineering Department (EED) and District Awami League General Secretary Al Mamun Sarker were present as the special guests at the program chaired by Brahmanbaria Govt College Principal Professor Mohammad Hanif.
