Depression weakens, signal down


Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to lower signal as the land depression over weakened into a well marked low. The land depression over Kishoreganj region and adjoining area of Bangladesh moved northeastwards further, weakened into a well marked low and then into a low, said special bulletin of the Met office.

It was centered in Sylhet region and adjoining area at 9:00 am on Sunday and likely to be weakened further and become unimportant. Squally weather unlikely in North Bay and adjoining coastal areas ofBangladesh. All fishing boats and trawlers in North Bay were advised to proceed with caution.
