CUET team clinch 3rd position in Minesweepers Competition-17

'Mongol Ovizatruk-71' Team of the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) won 'Minesweepers: Towards Mine-Free World International Compe-tition-2017' award in Malaysia recently.Minesweepers World International Compe-tition-2017' held  in Malaysia arranged by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Robetic and Automation Society. 

The competition held at Islamic International University, Malaysia on October 27 last. In the competition, 19 teams from 17 countries of the world participated the competition. The CUET team ''Mongol Ovizatruk-71' clinches 3rd position in the competition.

Meanwhile, members of the 'Mongol Ovizatruk-71' team paid a courtesy call on Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rafiqul Alam at his office on Tuesday. During courtesy call, team supervisor and Head of the Mechanical Department Prof Dr Jamaluddin, Departmental head of Computer science Dr Md Shamsul Arefin, Prof Dr Sudip Kumar Paul, Dr Md Mashiul Hoque and Registrar Prof Dr Farukuzzaman Chowdhury were also present in the meeting.
