Politician Humayun Kabir no more -The Asian Age


Elderly and popular political figure of Nangalkot, Humayun Kabir, passed away on Sunday at the age of 65 years. He was vice-president of Awami League, Nangalkot unit and founder of Nangalkot Press Club. He was also vice-president of Nawab Faizunnessa Government College, Laksam.

Humayun Kabir's first namaz-e-janaza was offered on Monday at 10am on the premises of AR Model High School, Nangalkot attended by a huge number of people. His second namaz-e-janaza was offered in his own village Betagaon at 11am.

He was buried at Betagaon later on. Upazila Chairman Shamsuddin Kalu, upazila Awami League Convener Rafiqul Hossain, Municipality Mayor Abdul Malek, District Council Member AB Siddique, Principal Sadek Hossain Bhuyian, upazila freedom fighter Commander Ishak, Nangalkot Press Club's Convener FM Shoeb, member secretary Abul Khayer and many more people.
