A Bullet Pursues You
A bullet is looking for you
Lurking around your home and outside.
People far and near
Friends and allies
Reside close to you
With smiling faces
With flowers in hands.
They stick with you like shadows.
They make blueprints together.
Learned, unlettered, all sorts of
Enemies are always close by
Looking for murderous chances.
They pretend to love you
And get your mercy, affection as rewards.
They are defeated foes with eyes burning with revenge
But they appear before you with benign visage.
They are rising in numbers like bugs.
They visit your homestead every now and then
Wearing friendly masks.
Secretly they sound like snakes before hitting their prey
And pour venom.
If they find breaches
They will plunge my country into dark abyss.
You have been all alone
Amid crowds, carrying your woes since your birth.
Your vision glances at the sky.
Things far away are clear to you
But those right in front of you
Are hazy to see.
One bullet is aimed at you
Do you know that!
Your motherland is at risk just like you.
