Meryl Streep won Best Actress at the National Board Of Review Awards in New York on Tuesday. The 68-year-old winner looked sophisticated chic in an all black ensemble as she took the stage to accept the prize.
And she was greeted at the podium by fellow legendary actor Robert De Niro who planted a big kiss on The Post star's lips. The two are old pals, who famously costarred in 1978 Vietnam drama The Deer Hunter.
Daring to impress, the Oscar winner looked every inch the movie star in the sparkly black overcoat. A long satin scarf covered her decolletage as it hung down to her knee high black riding boots.
Meryl accessorized with a black luxurious clutch and a stunning pair of black diamond drop earrings. Her trademark soft golden tresses were left long and loose as they cascaded over her petite shoulders.
The Deer Hunter superstar went virtually makeup free with a slight smokey eye and soft berry lip. The Golden Globe winner looked ecstatic giving a speech at the podium for the annual awards show.
Robert De Niro put his arm around his Falling In Love co-star as he cut a dapper figure in a classic suit. Later, he planted a big smooch on Meryl as he met with her on stage. Meryl's daughter Grace Gummer - who is also an actress - put her arm around her mother for a photo.
