Actor Arifin Shuvo will star in Tollywood director Arindam Sil's upcoming film Balighar. The actor himself confirmed signing the contract Thursday. The shooting of the film might start in March, said Shuvo.
Arindam Sil made an official announcement about the cast and crew of the film at a press conference in Dhaka's Pan Pacific Sonargaon yesterday. The film will also star Nusrat Imroz Tisha and Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed from Bangladesh and Abir Chatterjee, Parno Mittra, Rahul Banerjee and Anirban Bhattacharya from India.
The film will be based on popular novelist of India Suchitra Bhattacharya's Dheu Ase Dheu Jay novel. The story of the film will focus on an incident in seven friend's life that happened 12 years ago. These seven friends then meet together in Cox's Bazar when all of them are at highest level on their lives.
According to Sil, the toughest character of this film will be the lead, Madhumoy, which will be played by Arifin Shuvo. He will be appeared as a chef in this movie. Though not in main characters, but Nusrat Imroz Tisha will be seen in a special character in the film, a source revealed.
Earlier, Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan made her debut in India's Kolkata with Sil's 'Aborto' that brought her much acclaim.
