Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the country's people to save Bangladesh from the intrigues of pro-Pakistan conspirators. She said that the nation should stay on high alert about the political parties who had placed war criminals in ministerial posts in the past. Then why should people who are born and brought up in Bangladesh speak Bengali in English style" Sheikh Hasina also said, "Bangabandhu gave guidelines for conducting the Language Movement staying inside jail. Language Movement began in 1948. Students and general people shed their own blood in 1952 to establish Bengali as our state language."
