"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Comilla and Noakhali with having chance of falling hails at isolated places in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am today," said a met office press release here.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country while light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country from late night to tomorrow morning, the release added.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining areas, the release said, adding that seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36.6 degrees celsius yesterday at Jessore in Khulna division and today's minimum temperature 17.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
The sunsets at 6:03 pm today and rises at 6:17 am tomorrow in the capital city.
