The Chittagong Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (CWASA) has been selected for a prestigious International Construction Award in recognition of its outstanding services.
The Spain-based Global Trade Leaders' Club (GTLC), a club of businessmen with 7500 members from 95 countries, has chosen CWASA as a winner of this year's award. CWASA authority will receive the award during a lunch to be held on May 14 at a hotel in Spain's capital Madrid, said a GTLC release.
The function will be attended by commercial authorities, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and specialized press. Major constructors, contractors, civil engineering companies and the most important manufacturers and suppliers of the building industry from different countries will be receiving their prizes at the function.
On this occasion, about 100 businessmen from this sector will introduce their enterprises, offering an excellent opportunity to all participants to get to know one another and build commercial links with other professionals of this field.
This international award was created in Europe to reward firms from all over the world which have distinguished themselves in the construction and ancillary industries, one of the most important fields impacting the socio-economic elements of any country, the release added.
