Boishakhi TV confirms Foysal's death

Boishakhi Television has confirmed that its journalist Foysal Ahmed was killed in Nepal plane crash on Monday. In a media briefing, the private television said: "Foysal was on leave from March 11. For this reason, the TV station could not confirm his situation immediately."    

The TV station sent two senior journalists to Kathmandu yesterday. Quoting them, the media release said: "No trace of Foysal was found in the hospitals in Nepal. Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal and Boishakhi delegation has confirmed the death."

The journalist's body is among the deceased kept in mortuary. Foysal joined Boishakhi in 2012 in producing section. Later in 2014, he began his journalistic career.The media release said Boishakhi family was deeply shocked and expressed solidarity to the bereaved family. Hailing from Sariyatpur Foysal used to stay with his sister in Dhaka.
