It is a creeper type of plant and is seen in the hilly regions of Bangladesh. It winds itself around some other tree or clutches of some bush and attaches itself to it. Its leaves are green.
It has yellow flowers with five petals and one sees the plant mostly during the summer season. It is seen in large numbers in Shylhet and Chittagong Hill Tracts. Langulilata has certain medicinal properties. The fluid of its leaves is particularly useful in the treatment of cuts and scratches.
