A parasitic plant

It is a parasitic plant. It winds itself around the top branches of tall mango and wood-apple trees, thrusts its own roof into them, collects its juice and food from them and thus lives on. It has green leaves. Near the bright red head of its stem green colored flowerers blossom in clusters. They blossom in many parts of Asia. One sees them blossoming in the winter months of January and February.
