Workshop held at Jagannath University

Institute of Modern Language (IML) of Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh organized  a day long workshop on  "Study of the use of ICT Tools in English Language Teaching (ELT) at Private universities in Dhaka City'' on 22nd July, 2018.  The workshop was conducted by Protiva Rani Karmaker Director & Associate Professor of English of IML.

There were resource persons from Eastern University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Institute of Education & Research (IER) of Jagannath University, Ishwardi Government College and FATIMA foundation.

The undergraduate students of different public and private universities were also present. Nearly all the participants were in the same view that, "though ICTs is overtly used by the undergraduate learners as well as teachers in ELT (English Language Teaching), in some cases, it fails to bring the best output and so we should use ICTs for ensuring creativity and holistic education not for styles and rules only."  The Director of IML also shared her data & research findings on this topic.
