Acclaimed Bangladeshi actor Jaya Ahsan, lead actor and producer of the film 'Debi,' has recently started university based promotional campaign for the film starting from Jahangirnagar University campus.
The team of the government funded film will visit the Transport Yard of Jahangirnagar University campus on September 26 to promote their film among the students of the campus. The event will be organized by Zahir Raihan Film Society.
In a recent video message published from the Facebook profile of Mir Rumman Waly, publicity secretary of Zahir Raihan Film Society, Jaya announced: "A lot of you might know that 'Debi' is the first film of my production house C Te Cinema which will release this October.
The film is based on the novel of Humayun Ahmed and directed by Anam Biswas. We, the team behind 'Debi,' would like to cordially invite all of you to Jahangirnagar University on September 26 to talk more about the film with all of you."
Moreover, the team of the film announced a poster designing contest titled "Amar Chokhe Debi- Misir Ali Prothombar" from the official Facebook page of the film on September 16 as a part of their ongoing promotional campaign.
The online contest asked designers and artists to design a poster of the film with the given contents and send them back to the film team within September 30. The winners of the contest are promised exciting prizes.
Apart from Jaya, the film "Debi" stars Chanchal Chowdhury along with Iresh Zaker, Animesh Aich, and Sabnam Faria in major roles. The film is scheduled to release in mid October.
