Pathao launches insurance coverage for riders, users Pathao Bangladesh, the country's pioneer ride hailing app, announced the introduction of insurance services yesterday, for both its users and Riders.

Pathao Bangladesh, the country's pioneer ride hailing app, announced the introduction of insurance services yesterday, for both its users and Riders.  Pathao is dedicated to taking efforts in ensuring the safety and financial security of every Rider, Captain and user.

Pathao Bangladesh has signed an MOU with Dotline Bangladesh Limited, to customized insurance services, will be provided by Dotlines Bangladesh under the IR insurance brand Carnival Assure.

The Insurance Service is divided into 4 different terms, which includes Accidental Death Benefit, Accidental Permanent Total Disability, Accidental Hospitalization and Natural Death Benefit. The Insurance Compensation ranges from Tk 25,000 to Tk 1,00,000. Both users and riders are eligible for the claim.

Hasan Mehedi, CEO, Dotline Bangladesh Limited, and Hussain M Elius, CEO, Pathao Limited, signed the MOU on behalf of their respected companies. Shifat Adnan CTO Pathao Limited, Kishwar Hashemee, VP of Rides, Pathao Limited were present at the event along with high officials from both organizations.

Carnival Assure created a unique customize insurance plan to benefit all users of the Pathao ecosystem. A convenient and easy-to-comprehend claim settlement system has also been put in place. We believe that this partnership will make the Pathao platform the safest in the country."
