LGRD ministry and CEMS Global share that Dhaka to host Int'l Water Expo on 25-27 Oct with the press at a media briefing held on Sunday in the city. -AA
A three-day long the 2nd Water Bangladesh International Expo 2018 will be began at the International Convention City on October 25 under the joint aegis of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives (LGRD) ministry and CEMS Global.
A total of nine countries - Bangladesh, India, China, USA, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Sri Lanka and Thailand - will participate in the exhibition. LGRD ministry and CEMS Global shared this information with the press at a media briefing held on Sunday at Economic Reporter's Forum (ERF) conference room in the city.
The exhibition will provide a common ground for consumers and entrepreneurs to discover the latest technologies and solutions from around the world. It will also provide a platform for B2B and B2G interaction where local entrepreneurs will be able to exchange and share latest information, concepts and technology with the internationally renowned specialist and top brands in the industry, CEMS Global President Meherun N Islam said.
Along with the exhibition, CEMS Global, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Rural Development Academy (RDA) are jointly organizing a seminar titled "Moving towards a water-wise Bangladesh" on October 25.
Besides, BUET and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh together with CEMS Global are also organizing a workshop titled "Wastewater Treatment and Reuse: Selection and Managing Basic & Advance Technologies" on October 27.
The exhibition will be open for all from 10.30 am to 8.00 pm on all three days and visitors will be able to pre-register through the website: www.e-registration.com or register in person at the venue.CEMS Bangladesh Chief Executive Sayed Tanvir Kamrul Islam, Marketing Head of CEMS Global Abu Nayeem Sharif, RDA Director Abdur Rashid also spoke at the press conference.
