Wahid Ibn Reza, who has made a name for himself in the Hollywood industry as a VFX artist, recently posted updates on his Liberation War animated film project 'Surviving 71 - An Untold Story of an Unknown War' on his Facebook profile. He announced that the first teaser of the film will be released on March 26, 2019 marking the country's 48th Independence Day.
"On this day, last year we announced that we have started a project to makle a feature length animated film on our liberation war and we would update you on the project a year later," Wahid wrote on his Facebook profile on Tuesday.
"The film is titled 'Surviving 71 - An Untold Story of an Unknown War' and as we can not make a feature length film right now we decided that initially we will make a teaser first. Then subsequently its trailer, a short and later on the full length feature version of it," he added.
He also apologized for the delay in the project's progress due to lack of funding, manpower and deterioration of his health. He also took the complete blame on himself as he is the director of the project. He later on wrote: "The initial design is complete for the first teaser. We have begun its background work and animation tests. Also the voice over recording will start very soon and the FX work is also ongoing. Iif everything goes according to the plan we are scheduled to release the first teaser on March 26, 2019, Inshallah."
