Baby Nazneen, Helal Khan want BNP ticket
Popular singer Baby Nazneen and film actor Helal Khan collected nomination papers on Monday to contest the upcoming 11th parliamentary election with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) ticket.
Baby Nazneen bought a nomination paper for Nilphamari-4 constituency while Helal Khan collected a form for contesting the polls from Sylhet-6.
The BNP has started its sale of nomination papers for the 11th parliamentary election by allocating nomination forms for three seats to BNP chief Khaleda Zia. Khaleda Zia is currently in jail over two corruption cases. It has not been confirmed whether she will be allowed to contest the election.
