The BFF national lottery prize giving ceremony 2018, a fundraising campaign by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for the development of country's football, held yesterday at its BFF house in Motijheel. The federation takes initiative finding out and cherishing talented booters across the country. As a sequel of this initiative, the govt has permitted BFF to collect fund through this lottery program which will be spent on overall football development.
The lottery-tickets were in the market from March 13 to May 15 and draw ceremony was held on May 26. A 13-member BFF lottery committee chairing BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy announces total 35 prizes in this regard. The first prize of the lottery is BDT 30 lakhs, second prize is BDT 5 lakh. Md Anwar Hossain wins the first prize while the Md Abdul Hakim wins second.
BFF's senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy handed over the prizes to the winners. Besides, BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, BFF member Fazlur Rahman Babu and lottery managing council and partner J K International chief Alam Kabir were present during the program. "We collect 1 crore revenue through this campaign and we will spend it on country's football development," said Murshedy during the program. BFF lottery committee chairman also thanks and appreciates the govt for their overall supports and permission.
