The Deputy Director of NGO Bureau Abdullah Al Khairum visited Bangla-desh World Concern office in Brahmanbaria and field activities of the organization on Wednesday. The Deputy Director was accorded a reception by the officers of World Concern. Mr Thomas Tuhin Das, IDP Program Manager welcomed him and briefed him about various activities in the district. Later on through a power point presentation he was briefed on World Concern's activities.
He also went to the Rishi Para in Bhadugor and Suhilpur to see the development works done through the project of FDCS, BBC and IDP pre-school, Ultra poor women groups, Adolescent Girls' groups, recipients of scholarships, Child's Forum and the Federation Group. He spoke to beneficiaries, children, women from almost every age group. He visited the houses after toilets were installed by World Concern for the poor families. He also met the beneficiaries of SARFF and SED who involved in fishery work later.
After all the meetings and visit he was very satisfied and said that we all desire, hope and pray that the people gets education, villages get development and everyone remains healthy. It was a indeed great honor for Brahmanbaria World Concern office to have the sub chief from Government NGO Bureau for the first time.
