Harmonize with govt's inclusive development

Addressing the nongovernmental organizations working in Bangladesh, Dr Atiur Rahman noted that the NGOs have to complement the government initiatives for achieving sustainable development goals. The former Governor of Bangladesh Bank suggested maintain proper coordination and coherent planning and focused on the partnership between the government and non-government sectors.

"The private sector, the non-profit sector and the government sector -- all of us are working hand in hand; it's a collaboration for the development," he said while addressing a discussion organized by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) on Monday. The program was organized in Dhaka's Krishibid Institution marking the International Human Rights Day. Sultana Kamal, Shaheen Anam and Prof Mizanur Rahman also spoke at the program.
