National Film Award-winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim, who is busy with big-screen projects nowadays, has recently completed the shooting of Golam Sohrab Dodul's debut film, 'Shap Ludo', and is currently working on a new film, titled 'Thai Curry'. 'Thai Curry' is an Indo-Bangla joint project directed by Ankit Aditya from Kolkata. The film will be released both in Bangladesh and Kolkata, says Mim.
DhakaLive has news that the actress has been in Bangkok since last Wednesday, shooting for the film. Speaking over the phone, Mim said, "I'm currently on a location shooting in Bangkok for 'Thai Curry'. The shooting will continue for about a month. I'm portraying the role of Maya. It's a very challenging role."
"The story of the film focuses on the situations prevailing in Bangladesh and the film will be released both in West Bengal and Bangladesh. Interestingly, the day when I finished the shooting of 'Shap Ludo', I was offered the role in the film. I'm upbeat about the project," she added.
Indian actor Soham will be seen opposite the actress in the film. They had earlier worked together in film 'Black'. Mim is expected to return to Dhaka next month. UNB
