Flower's fragrance of winter

Flower's fragrance of winter

Nafiza Mou

As my the student  life  is just over and we are living now a machine life! Job, duties, office responsibilities bla-bla. Even couldn't breathe soundly with fresh air and nature but as a human being I am always fond of nature. When I just look at the calendar and turn the page I see it's December and winter is saying I am coming, I am coming.

I  Planned with my two photographer elder brother of the university and to make a short jaunt near Dhaka, we welcomed to a place which is full of life & nature and opens up all its serenity especially in winter. I can give you surety that the place will bring you back to life from the dusty city-routine.

Yes! it's none other than Jahangir Nagar University. The whole campus is encircled by various types of trees and 12-13 lakes.

The water features sprawled around the campus make an excellent habitat for the winter birds that flock in every year in thousands. We saw in wither morning winter, the migratory birds come here to escape from severe cold of their native countries. There has a beautiful lake named Padda Pukur behind the VC residence where thousands of migratory birds sing their song with their own tune in winter  which will pleased you very much.

Early in morning the artistic golden sun got up like a baby and started painting the dark black sky into a bright blue sky. The bright looking milky clouds got up from sleep and started travelling around the sky visiting the wonderful environment. Fresh windy cool and crispy air started whistling like a invisible ghost.

The red and green in color birds with chillilike on the water lily lack and beak started twitting their morning melody. The enormous garden stood like a royal palace and the thick dried strong brown big branches danced welcoming the morning. The green brown beautiful countless leaves whispered to each other about their morning plans.

The small colorful cute butterflies danced all around the environment looking for sweet nectar. The flower's fragrance filled the whole environment making the morning pleasant. I just love to take photos, one of my university mate Arif bhiya said, Mou don't take a pose, I would like to take candid photos with natural beauty. Three hours flew even we couldn't understand!!

In the noon we have taken our lunch with verities of vorta in Bot tola  and Shahipaan in front of MultoMancho. After noon we come back with refresh our soul and body and continuing regular life as well!
