Kaniz a strong candidate for reserved seat

The ruling Awami League has won absolute majority in eleven Parliamentary elections. The newly elected MPs also took oath. The new cabinet will take oath on Monday. Now the Parliament is going to decide who be the MPs from reserved seats? These names are likely to be officially announced today. It is learned that at least four women leaders  are candidates for four seats in Cox's Bazar district.

One of the lucky leader is the former MP of Cox's Bazar-3 constituency, current district council chairman Mostaq Ahmad Chowdhury's wife and district women's Awami League president and female organization chairman Kaniz Fatema Mostak. In this regard Kaniz Fatema Mostak said that he was nominated for the Cox's Bazar-3 (Sadar-Ramu) constituency in the 10th parliamentary elections in 2014, but his nomination was canceled due to loan default case. But she paid the money against  the default loan.

In the eleventh Parliamentary elections, she did not get nomination. Now,  she is waiting for the nomination of reserved women seats. She further said, " I was associated with Awami League politics for a long time. Hopefully, the party will evaluate it. '
