Digital land management system soon

The newly appointed Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury yesterday firmly said that the government will establish a transparent and people-friendly digital land management system across the country. "The overall activities of the land ministry will reflect a strong stance against all kinds of corruption in future and the ministry will pursue zero tolerance in terms of corruption," he said.

The land minister said this while talking to journalists at VIP lounge of Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport this afternoon during his first visit to Chattogram after being inducted into the cabinet as land minister.

Saifuzzaman, who was earlier state minister for land, said the land ministry will be reshuffled and turned into top five among ministries in line with present governments vision 2021.

He said land management would be digitalized and people-friendly under the guidance of Prime Minister and Bangabandhu daughter Sheikh Hasina. He also stressed on detecting the problems in the land sector on priority basis and ensuring quality services in land management.

The minister also urged all to be united to build up poverty and unemployment free developed Bangladesh.
Mofizur Rahman, General Secretary of Chottagram south district Awami League, deputy commissioner of Chattogram, Mohammad Ilias Hossain, Superintendent of district police Nur-e-Alam Mina, among others, who received the land Minister at the airport.
