State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, MP, has assured helping frozen shrimp and fish processing export industry of Bangladesh to improve production of shrimp.He made the remarks while a delegation of Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association (BFFEA) led by its President Md Amin Ullah met with him at his office in the city on Thursday.
The delegation included BFFEA president Md Amin Ullah, Kazi Belayet Hossain, senior vice president, Sk Md Abdul Baki, vice president, Devabrata Barua, vice president, Md Rezaul Haque, director, Syed Abu Asfar, director, Md Tariqul Islam Zaheer, director, Md Masudur Rahman, director, Ashraf Hossain Masud, former senior vice president and A Jabbar Mollah, Ex-Director.
The congratulated the State Minister on assuming the office of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. In the meeting, Amin Ullah introduced to all the members of BFFEA and briefed the frozen shrimp and fish processing export sector, key vision and mission of BFFEA to the State Minister.
He also recognized the roles of Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock in formulating and executing policies concerning sector and facilitating shrimp and fish export within the context of competitive global trade.BFFEA delegation also thanked the State Minister for giving his valuable time and hoped that his prudent leadership will create ample scope for export enhancement of Bangladesh as well as continue road-map and branding this sector.
