South Asia LPG Summit begins today


The two day South Asia LPG Summit 2019 is going to be held in Bangladesh on March 3-4 at International Convention Hall Bashundhara. The summit will comprise a conference, training program and exhibition which is expected to see more than 200 foreign delegates and exhibitors.

Also, more than 80 local and internationally renowned companies are going to showcase their technologies and benefits of LPG as an alternative energy to meet the increasing demands in Bangladesh. Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral resources and LPG Operators Association of Bangladesh (LOAB) are the supporting partner for this event.Nasrul Hamid, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral is scheduled to inaugurate the opening ceremony of the event.

David Tyler, Director of World LPG Association will conclude the event through his keynote speech on March 4.Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, Secretary, Energy and Mineral Resoucres, Ministry of Energy, Md Shamsur Rahman, Chairman, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), President FBCCI, Sheikh Fazle Fahim,  Sr Vice President FBCCI, among others will be present during the inauguration ceremony.

The Asia LPG Summit has been instrumental in bringing together investors, global LPG players, governments, NGOs and technology providers in helping to develop and grow the LPG sector of Asia in a sustainable and safe manner.
