World Consumer Rights Day observed

The teachers and students of different departments of Islamic University observed the World Consumer Rights Day 2019 on the campus in Kushtia on Saturday.Marking the day, a rally led by IU CYB President Shamimul Islam Sumon was brought out from in front of the university's Arts Faculty building around 11:00am. The procession ended at the same place after parading main roads of the campus.

Around one-hundred CYB members took part on the rally.IU Pro Vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman was present at the programme as the chief guest while Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha, CYB moderator Professor M Maher Ali, IU transport administrator Professor Rezuwanul Islam, Tourism and Hospitality Management department's lecturer Shoriful Islam Jewel and CYB central joint-secretary Emran Shuvro, among others, were present as special guests.
