Two siblings held with yaba in Ctg

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive at Shah Amanat Setu area under Bakalia police station, arrested two siblings with 13,850 pieces of yaba pills yesterday morning.

Assistant Police Super Md Mashhur Rahman of RAB-7 told BSS that the detainees were identified as Md Tanvir Hossain, 28, and his elder sister Rawshn Ara, 32, hailed from Charghat upazila of Rajshahi district.

On information, a team of RAB-7 searched a Rajshahi-bound bus in Shah Amanat Setu (Bridge) area and arrested the duo, the RAB official added. A case was filed with Bakalia police station in this connection.
