Baishakhi Fruit Festival with poor people in Nakla


Students' organization "Nakla Helpless Support Organisation" has organized the Boishakhi fruit festival by feeding 15 types of fruits of poor and helpless people in Nakla of Sherpur on Friday.

The fruit festival was celebrated in Jalalpur West Government Primary School field with more than hundreds of poor and helpless people. AKM Mahbubul Alam Suhag chairman of Nakla upazila, Zahidur Rahman upazila nirbahi officer of Nakla, Rafiqul Islam Sohel convener and FM Kamrul Alam Ranju joint convener of upazila Juba League, Rezaul Karim office secretary of municipal AL, freedom fighter Tapan Poddar, Manira Parvin head teacher of Jalalpur West Government Primary School, Shamim Ahmed president and Maksuda Begum GS, Abdul Moteleb Falyanna, Mashikur Rahman Misu, Afzal Hossain, Hridoy Hasan, Shapala, Akidul, Shaon, Toshan, Suni, Munni volunteer members of Nakla helpless support organisation, local public representatives, teachers, students, partner and journalist of different media were present.

The President and General Secretary of the organization said, "We tried to decorate one-day Bengali by eating Panta Hilsa and Boishakhi fruits in 1st Baishak. But poor and helpless can not do it, they can not buy indigenous boishakhi fruit.


Therefore, this year, as well as the poor and helpless people of this year, they also celebrate the fruit festival of Boishakhi.
