Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Chairperson of Unnayan Shamannay Prof Dr Atiur Rahman left Dhaka yesterday for London to join a two-day symposium on 'Economic Growth, Development and Economic Stability'. The symposium has been organized by School of Management at Swansea University.
Dr Atiur will present a keynote paper on 'Inspirational Growth of Bangladesh Economy and Role of Developmental Central Banking' to be presented today. He focused on outlining the sources of amazing inclusive growth of Bangladesh economy and the role of financial sector of the country over the last decade in attaining this success in his paper.
Economists, researchers, policy makers, and development practitioners from all over the globe will join this two-day symposium.
